About Us
Shape Digital (formerly Accelerate Underwriting) is a specialist MGA, offering bespoke products, all backed by A rated insurers. We simplify placing schemes, affinity partnerships and non-standard insurance through the use of data and customer insights to build e-traded solutions which are designed to meet both our brokers and their customer’s needs. We specialise in Property & Casualty business covering a multitude of trades, in fact the list of those we cannot accept is extremely small. Founded in 2015, Shape Digital previously traded as Accelerate Underwriting. We are part of the Shape Underwriting family.
Products
As our focus is on non-standard, specialist and niche we very rarely overlap with mainstream insurers.
Choices - Commercial Combined
Our main non-standard product. A modular offering which caters for business not suitable for most insurer online portals. This could be due to trade, work location or the proposer’s history. We’ve an extremely wide appetite with over 2,500 trades, although distressed risks are not for us.
Care
A combined property and casualty policy designed specifically for operators of elderly care homes. The product can cater for Individual premises or multiple premises as part of a portfolio. Our focus is on elderly and old age care including dementia, EMI and/or sensory impairment; elderly nursing/respite care; elderly persons with mild learning difficulties or physical disablities.
Unoccupied Property Owners
For both commercial and residential property owners, with policies available for 3, 6 or 12 months and total sum insured up to £5m per location.
Professional Indemnity
Our Professional Indemnity product is designed for SME business sub £250,000 income. This product is built on the AcceleRATER system and will allow you to quote and bind small PI policies. Limits available from £50,000 to £2,000,000.
